Memorial Gardens Cemetery

Temple B’nai Darom owns its own cemetery, Memorial Gardens, located on 2.6 acres of land in the Silver Springs Shores section of Ocala. Memorial Gardens, approved by the State of Florida a non-profit religious cemetery, held its first funeral in 1984.

There are four sections at Memorial Gardens. The first section of 90 graves is full and was available only to those of the Jewish faith. The second section of 110 grave sites is currently open for use by those of the Jewish faith. The third section, with 80 grave sites, is open to those of the Jewish faith and for their non-Jewish immediate family members. There is a fourth section at Memorial Gardens which has not yet been opened for use.

Anyone desiring to discuss purchasing Perpetual Care in the cemetery, which includes a grave site, or is interested in an in-person or virtual tour, should contact Howard Shiner at (914) 482-5326.

Once someone has purchased at Memorial Gardens and the family is in need of services they should contact Howard Shiner at (914) 482-5326 who will assist in coordination of the funeral.

The cost of Perpetual Care in the Memorial Garden Cemetery is $1,000 for Temple members and $1,900 for all others.

Members who purchase Perpetual Care as members agree to remain Temple members.
